Defiance III is the strongest of Don Joy's functional knee braces. The custom, carbon fiber composite is lightweight and the low-profile design fits comfortably under clothing. Indications include support help for: hyperextension, moderate to severe ACL or PCL instabilities, ACL/ PCL instabilities combined (CI), MCL/LCL instabilities, ACL or PCL reconstructions, prophylactic use.

The OA Defiance is DonJoy’s premier custom OA product. It is
designed for the active OA patient, is extremely lightweight,
and provides durable support to aid moderate to severe levels
of osteoarthritis. The 4-Points-of-Leverage™ System helps provide ligament stability, with 1° to 7° of correction built into a strong, lightweight carbon composite frame. The bilateral hinge bars offer support to aid ligament instabilities and work in conjunction with a patented telescoping condyle pad which helps put the load control in the hands of the patient.
